Whirlee as it appeared for BattleBots Rochester R3
Whirlee was a Middleweight robot built by Team Sandman that competed at the BattleBots Rochester R3 event in 2005. It was a four wheeled, Silver robot armed with a 9 pound vertical spinning bar. Whirlee did not do well in the competition as it lost both of it's battles.

Whirlee is flipped by SubZero.
After receiving a bye in the first round like many Middleweights at the event, Whirlee's first match was against SubZero. It lost this fight by KO after being flipped by SubZero, and counted out.
This loss meant that Whirlee was now in the loser's bracket where it faced MoZar. It lost this fight as well, and was eliminated from the competition. MoZar wasn't done however as it was one of four robots that competed in the Middleweight rumble at the end of the competition along with Terminal Velocity, Skip or Die, and Royd Rage. However it lost out to Skip or Die after being flipped by Terminal Velocity.
