Wacker was a lightweight robot built by Bob Schneeveis which competed in Season 3.0 of BattleBots. It was a triangular-shaped robot which was armed with two spinning lawnmower blades in the front. On the back of the robot was a stuffed Roger Rabbit doll which would mimic driving. The robot did decently during its sole season, winning 3 fights before being trashed by Ziggo.
Before BattleBots, Bob Schneeveis built numerous combat robots for the US Robot Wars events as well as building Uplifting Experience for the Season 3.0 middleweight bracket.
Wacker's first ever match in BattleBots was against The Midnight Project. Wacker triumphed with a KO and advanced to the final preliminary round, where it faced Eric the Red. Wacker won on a 37-8 judge's decision and advanced to the TV rounds, where it faced Sparky.
In the match, Wacker got its spinning blade into Sparky and ripped two wheels off. After this, Wacker was destroying Sparky's armor. Amazingly, Sparky was still moving and the time ran out shortly after. Wacker won on a 34-11 judge's decision and advanced to the round of 32, where it faced the Season 2.0 lightweight champion Ziggo.
The first three seconds of the fight consist of both robots getting their spinning weapons up to speed. Ziggo and Wacker approached each other and Ziggo hits Wacker's front, disabling Wacker's spinning blades in the process. As Wacker was barely moving, Ziggo works its way toward Wacker's side and hits it hard. This hit removed the side panel and immobilized the left wheel of Wacker. Ziggo is now behind Wacker and while trying to turn around, inadvertently hits the stuffed rabbit with its flag. Ziggo hits Wacker's right wheel, limiting Wacker's movement to the tiny motion on the left wheel. Ziggo gets around to the rear of Wacker and one hit from Ziggo flips Wacker onto its back. Ziggo performs a victory spin as Wacker was being counted out. Ziggo won by KO at 1:28 and Wacker was eliminated from the tournament.
Because Wacker was severely damaged by Ziggo, Wacker couldn't participate the lightweight consolation rumble at the end of the tournament.
- Wins: 3
