Timmy

Timmy was a middleweight robot built by Mike Hertzig of Team Truly Unruly that competed in the final three seasons of BattleBots. It was originally a translucent robot that was weaponless, but was reinforced with thicker metal from Season 4.0 onward. It also obtained a flipper for Season 5.0. It performed acceptably in BattleBots, reaching the televised rounds in Season 4.0. Timmy never went further than the Round of 32.

They also entered lightweight Ack-Ack! in the final two seasons of BattleBots, which was not as successful. Team Truly Unruly also entered Robot Wars: Extreme Warriors with Medusa Oblongata and Thor's Hammer.

Robot History

Season 3.0

Timmy's first ever match was against Mr. Sucko. Timmy won by KO at 1:23 and advanced to the next preliminary round, where it faced Kinetic Kill Vehicle. Timmy won by KO at 1:08 and advanced to the final preliminary round, where it faced Huggy Bear.

Timmy was having control issues and Huggy Bear clamped it as it was counted out. Huggy Bear won by KO and Timmy was eliminated from the tournament.

Season 4.0

Due to lack of participants, Timmy was already in the TV rounds, where it eventually faced Exodus. After Timmy and Exodus collide into each other, Exodus' rotating blade got off balance and flipped itself onto its back. Exodus was being counted out and Timmy won by KO. This win put Timmy to the round of 32, where it faced Hazard.

Timmy drove cautiously across the arena floor but Hazard scored a hit on Timmy's front panel, causing a hole. Hazard then maneuvered Timmy around for a while, before ramming Timmy into the spikestrip. Hazard then brought its blade back up to speed and ripped the entire front panel of Timmy clean off, sending it flying across the BattleBox. Timmy was struck once more, taking off one of the front panel supports. Timmy began driving in circles before Hazard charged in again and took the rear panel of Timmy off, incapacitating it. One last blow from Hazard spun Timmy into the pulverizer, where it was hit several times before being counted out. Hazard won by KO in 1:23 and Timmy was eliminated from the tournament again.

Because Timmy suffered so much damage from Hazard, Timmy couldn't participate in the middleweight consolation rumble at the end of the tournament.

Season 5.0

Timmy's first match in Season 5.0 was against DevNull. Timmy won by TKO and advanced to the next preliminary round, where it faced Centipede. Timmy won by KO and advanced to the final preliminary round, where it faced Ankle Biter. Ankle Biter won by KO and Timmy was eliminated from the tournament once again.
