The Cast-Iron Pig was a lightweight robot built by Team Impact which competed in Season 5.0 of Comedy Central BattleBots. It was a box-shaped robot with no active weapon and hinged skirts all around. It performed decently in its only season, reaching the round of 64. After BattleBots, The Cast-Iron Pig would also compete in Robocide, under the more simple name Cast Iron Pig

Team Impact would also compete on BattleBots with Middleweight Bumper.

Robot History

Season 5.0

The Cast-Iron Pig's first match was against Sharkicide. It was able to win on a 28-17 judges' decision. IT then moved on to face Claymore where it was able to squeak out a 24-21 judges' decision. It then moved on to face K where it again was able to win a judges' decision, this time 25-20. The Cast Iron-Pig was finally defeated by Wireless Wonder, eliminating it from the completion.
