Stingray's Season 4.0 appearance
Stingray was a middleweight robot which fought in Season 3.0 and 4.0 of BattleBots. It was a silver pyramid-shaped robot which was armed with a "telescopic" ramming spike (this served as a retracting spear). It didn't do well in competition, winning only one battle in Season 4.0.

Season 3.0
Stingray's first ever opponent was Zion. Zion won on a 37-8 judge's decision and Stingray was eliminated.
Season 4.0
Stingray's first opponent was Chiabot. Stingray spun in place, and Chiabot went in on the attack and took a hit or two. The minibot tried to get in and stop Stingray's spin, but lost one wheel. Chiabot came it and took a chunk off of Stingray's tail, and then the bots circled each other some more. Chiabot's flywheel got a few hits, but couldn't dig into Stingray's sloped sides. Stingray got one good shove on Chiabot. The minibot was also dead when the timer ran out. In the end, the judges went 28-17 in favor of Stingray.
Stingray went up against Little Pharma. Little Pharma rammed Stingray nicely, but popped itself up a bit on Stingray's wedged sides. It didn't let that worry it, the next hit went right under Stingray and Little Pharma pushed it all around the arena and into the wall spikes. Stingray tried spinning in place as a second resort, and got some hits, but nothing spectacular. Little Pharma eventually just rammed it, spinning in place or not, and went back to shoving it all around the box. Stingray's club tail-tip mysteriously popped out on a spring during one of the sit-and-spin moves, and the club soon fell off. Pharma pushed some more, but towards the end Stingray managed to get a push of its own and left Little Pharma on the exit ramp. The match ended and Stingray lost 12-33.
