Spike Demon's Season 5.0 appearance.
Spike Demon was a middleweight robot which competed in the final two seasons of BattleBots. It was an invertible wedge-shaped robot with no active weapon. It performed well in competition, reaching the round of 32 in Season 5.0 despite losing its first Season 4.0 battle.

Season 4.0
Spike Demon's Season 4.0 appearance.
Spike Demon's first and only fight in Season 4.0 was against Darkness. Spike Demon spent most of the match sitting and waiting as Darkness spun in place, keeping it at bay. Darkness got a few light hits, which were enough to put some dents and holes in Spike Demon, however it still was working fine and it avoided a few hits. Spike Demon pushed Darkness around a little bit, but couldn't really stay under it to shove Darkness around great distances. In the end, Darkness won on a 28-17 judge's decision (mainly due to the damage it dealt). This meant that Spike Demon was eliminated from the tournament.
Season 5.0
Spike Demon pushes Chiabot against the spikestrip.
Spike Demon's first match in Season 5.0 was against Team WhoopAss' Mutilator. Spike Demon won on a close 24-21 judge's decision and advanced to the next preliminary round, where it faced Chiabot. Spike Demon won by KO and advanced to the final preliminary round, where it faced Easty Beast. Spike Demon won by TKO and advanced to the TV rounds, where it faced BravePart.
Spike Demon pushes BravePart towards the killsaws.
In the match, both robots were pushing each other around the BattleBox. At one point in the match, BravePart was sent flying over Spike Demon courtesy of the killsaws. At the 1:40 mark, BravePart pushed Spike Demon onto the killsaws and was also sent flying around the BattleBox. After Spike Demon tried to push BravePart toward the killsaws again, the time ran out and Spike Demon won on a close 24-21 judge's decision. This win put Spike Demon to the round of 32, where it faced Zion.
Zion clamps Spike Demon from the rear.
At one point in the match, Spike Demon pushed Zion toward the killsaws at 2:06. After this, Zion managed to clamp Spike Demon from the rear and takes it to the killsaws. Soon after, Zion won by KO and Spike Demon was eliminated from the tournament again.
For unknown reasons, Spike Demon didn't participate the middleweight consolation rumble at the end of the tournament. Even if it had, it wouldn't have been allowed to participate in the royal rumble because of an accident done by Nightmare in the heavyweight consolation rumble, which canceled the rest of the rumbles.
