MicroVore was a middleweight competitor built by Team Shrapnel which fought in the final two seasons of Comedy Central BattleBots.

Its team were best known for their much more successful heavyweight, MechaVore, which MicroVore was a half-size replica of. Like MechaVore, MicroVore was a long, four-wheeled robot with a horizontal flywheel at the front capable of causing serious damage to opponents.

MicroVore did not fair well in battle, however, going winless across two seasons. The robot was retired shortly after the cancelation of Comedy Central BattleBots.

Robot History[]

Season 4.0[]

MicroVore vs. ZiggZagg

MicroVore fought ZiggZagg in its first fight of the season. However, ZiggZagg fit just under Microvore's disc, preventing the spinner from damaging him. ZiggZagg ran wild on MicroVore, slamming him into walls, lifting it up on the wedge so that the disc hit the ground. Microvore soon had an impact failure and was knocked out.

Season 5.0[]

MicroVore vs. WulfBane (Forfeit)

MicroVore was scheduled to fight WulfBane, but it was unable to pass safety inspection despite Team Shrapnel's repeated attempts, and were forced to forfeit.

  • The word "MicroVore" means "little eater" or "small eater".
