Metal Fury as it appeared for the inaugural BattleBots IQ tournament.
Metal Fury was a Middleweight robot built by a group of students from Ohio going under the team name Blood Sweat and Gears that competed in the inaugural BattleBots IQ tournament. It was a four-wheeled, invertible box wedge shaped robot with no active weapon. It is unknown how well Metal Fury did in the competition apart from a known loss against E2, and the fact that it won a 5 way tie for the "Outstanding Sportsmanship Award" along with: Accelerator, HammerRoyd, Happy Scrappy Hero Pup, and eventual champion Wee Willy Wedgy.

Since records of this event (Like the 2009, and 2011 events) are spotty at best it is unknown exactly how well, or how poorly Metal Fury did in this event apart from a known loss against eventual quarterfinalist E2.
