Tetanus was a middleweight robot built by Team T.A.R.S. which competed in the inaugural BattleBots IQ competition in 2002.

It was a box-shaped, four-wheeled robot armed with an overhead spinning bar protruding. According to the team behind Happy Scrappy Hero Pup, it suffered from an "underpowered" primary weapon and "overpowered drive train".[1]
However, it was still able to pick up a win over D-Monic before losing consecutive fights against eventual champion Wee Willy Wedgy as well as WhirlWind.
Tetanus did not return for any future competitions.
