Not to be confused with the British applicant for the 2018 and 2020 seasons of BattleBots on Discovery, and Robot Wars competitor - Ripper.
The Ripper, later known as Ripper V2, was a heavyweight robot built by Team Servo which competed in Seasons 3.0 and 5.0 of Comedy Central BattleBots.

It was a six-wheeled (originally two-wheeled) triangular-shaped robot armed with a spinning steel flail.
It did not perform well in competition, losing its first match in both appearances.
Outside BattleBots[]
Ripper V2 as Fury during Season 3 of Robotica.
It also competed in the final season of Robotica as Fury, with a bare metal look and new weaponry. For this competition, Fury was armed with a 24" rotating chisel spinning at 3000rpm. However, it lost in the preliminary stages to its opponent, Ultraviolent.

The Ripper vs. Icky Thump In its first battle, The Ripper faced Icky Thump. Both robots survived the duration of the fight, but Icky Thump won on a close 24-21 judges' decision and The Ripper crashed out of the tournament. |

Ripper V2 vs. Center Punch Returning under the name Ripper V2, it first fought Center Punch in the preliminary rounds. Center Punch won by knockout, however, and Ripper V2 was immediately eliminated. |
