FLIP was a middleweight robot built by Ramtech 001, which competed in the 2002 BattleBots IQ competition.

It was a two-wheel drive, wedge-shaped robot armed with a rear-hinged flipper housed at the rear, which was capable of throwing opponents over. It was partially armored in aluminum checkerplate. FLIP performed modestly in competition despite losing its first battle, picking up two wins in the loser's bracket before falling to Trojan Warrior. FLIP returned for two grudge battles, first a consolation rumble and then a 4v4 East vs. West team battle.

Although not considered an official honor, the Ramtech 001 team were awarded a Lincoln Electric welder at the end of the competition.[1]
