Fang was a lightweight robot built by Team Bulldog, which fought in Seasons 3.0, 4.0 and 5.0 of Comedy Central BattleBots.

It was equipped with a crushing arm with a long spike at the end to damage opponents. Originally green in color, Fang was redesigned for future seasons. It was given omni-directional wheels to enhance its mobility and painted blue. It performed decently, reaching the Round of 32 once but never advancing any further. Fang also made an appearance during Season 2.0 but did not compete outside of the Lightweight rRoyal Rumble.

Despite its relative obscurity, Fang also made an appearance in the canceled BattleBots video game for PlayStation 2 and GameCube.

Team Bulldog also built another lightweight, Bombus Bombus, for the Long Beach event in 1999, but it could not compete in either of its matches due to numerous electrical problems.

Robot History

Season 2.0
Lightweight Royal Rumble Fang being attacked by The Crusher. Fang in the Lightweight Royal Rumble. Despite not competing in the main tournament, Fang was able to fight in the Lightweight Royal Rumble. In the beginning of the rumble, it was smothered by Tentoumushi but managed to escape after Toe-Crusher attacked it with its hammer. Fang then made its way across the arena where it bit down No Tolerance III's lifting arm and left a mark, before being swallowed by Tentoumushi again. However, it appeared that one of Fang's spikes was stuck on Tentoumushi, after a while Tentoumushi managed to free Fang. Fang was then attacked by The Crusher, pushing it into the spikestrip, this impact caused Fang to have driving problems and eventually it stopped moving. It lost overall to HammerHead.
Season 3.0
Fang vs. Robot X Fang's first ever match in BattleBots was against Robot X. Fang won on a 41-4 judges' decision and got to advance forward to meet Cold Steel.
Fang vs. Cold Steel Fang won the match and advanced to the TV Rounds, where it faced Skid Mark.
Fang vs. Skid Mark Fang gets flipped over by Skid Mark. The match ended quickly as Skid Mark immediately flipped Fang and Fang couldn't self-right and it was counted out. Skid Mark won by KO at 57 seconds and Fang was eliminated from the tournament.
Season 4.0
Fang vs. The Big B Fang's first and only match was against The Big B. The Big B won on a 29-16 judges' decision and Fang was eliminated from the tournament again.
Season 5.0
Fang vs. Rhode Hog Fang's first fight of season 5.0 was against Rhode Hog. In the match, Fang had one of its wheels removed by Rhode Hog's new spinning disc but won after Rhode Hog suddenly lost power and was counted out. Fang won by KO and advanced to the next preliminary round, where it faced Death Ray.
Fang vs. Death Ray Death Ray won the match on a 27-18 judges' decision and Fang was eliminated from the tournament once again.
