William Michael "Bil" Dwyer (born March 30, 1962) is an American stand-up comedian and gameshow host. He served as as co-host and commentator for Comedy Central BattleBots from Season 1.0 until 5.0, first alongside Sean Salisbury and later, Tim Green.

He also competed in three exhibition matches in Season 5.0 with his robot, Evil Cheese Wedge, a middleweight wedge-shaped robot he bought online for $950. It won two of its three fights against SnowFlake and Psyche, then was obliterated by The Butcher.

Bil Dwyer returned to BattleBots in 2022, but in an untelevised role. He served as hype man for the live audience during World Championship VII and began co-hosting the live show BattleBots: Destruct-A-Thon alongside Steve Judkins.[1][2]

Bil Dwyer was born in Evergreen Park, Illinois and is an alumnus of Southern Illinois University Carbondale. He began stand-up comedy in 1994, and presented a half-hour special for Comedy Central in 2001, in the midst of his BattleBots tenure.

Television shows he has hosted include GSN's Extreme Dodgeball, I've Got A Secret and The 50 Greatest Game Shows of All Time, the PAX TV (now ION Television), gameshow Dirty Rotten Cheater, and the FSN game show Ultimate Fan League. He also appeared as a host and character on MTV's The 70s House in 2005.

He has been one of the talking heads on MTV and VH1 shows, including I Love the '90s, I Love the '90s: Part Deux, I Love the '70s, I Love the '80s 3-D and 101 Biggest Celebrity Oops. He also provided commentary on GSN's recent series of game show specials, including The Real Match Game Story: Behind The Blank and Game Show Countdown: Top 10 Hosts. He appeared as one of the finalists on the fourth season of NBC's Last Comic Standing, but was eliminated in the second regular episode, finishing 10th in the competition.

He appeared in the Cartoon Network series Out of Jimmy's Head, playing the main character's father and school guidance counselor. Currently, Bil Dwyer is a hosts GSN Radio and stars in the comedic web golf series, The Range Show with Bil Dwyer. Away from television, he has also featured in a number of films, including Ski School 2 (1994), The Bogus Witch Project (2000) and What Planet Are You From? (2000).

More recently, his debut comedy album titled Am I Yelling? was released in September 2020.
